Roles and Responsibilities

• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in

the industry, researching, and analysing sales options.

• Work on achieving volume avenue targets set by the vertical in terms of getting direct

import and export customers, forwarders.

• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects,

recommending solutions.

• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;

researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service


• Create a plan to target and acquire new customers, and generation of revenue by adding

new customers and increase business from existing customers by increasing their wallet


• Visit customers on a regular basis, discuss and understand their requirement…

• Apply commercial judgment to identify and convert cross selling opportunities

• Conduct Market analysis concerning potential customer, volumes, port pairings, and share


• Develop and implement sales plans to take advantage of market opportunities • Identifies

market demand on various products and recommend improvement if required as per

market trends.

• Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

• Reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking

state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
