Consultant, Advisors South Asia (ASA)

The ASA team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centred on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard ASA also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network. Make an Impact as a Consultant

Role

  • Generate key insights and independently perform analysis using Python or R on the survey data
  • Rigorously and logically identify issues covering entire client problem to understand business objectives
  • Identify creative and useful additional analyses required and suggest new paradigms for recommendations
  • Create effective, impactful, and quality assured storylines and slides
  • Synthesize analyses into clear, sound recommendations; takes responsibility for structuring and writing reports and client ready presentations
  • Present the findings to the end clients
  • Actively participate in business development support and thought leadership activities and ensure knowledge, know-how and best practices are shared and leveraged internally to continuously improve quality and productivity

All About You

  • Bachelors in Statistics/Engineering
  • Preferred masters in Statistics/business administration
  • Experience in consulting and market research industry, managing Clients, hands-on business analysis, report generation and story boarding
  • Strong Python, Excel and PowerPoint skills. SPSS, R is a plus
  • Comfortable with high performance culture; with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work on a team or independently
