We are looking for a Data Analyst for Master Data Governance, who will develop and implement a strategy and governance for our Master data used in the CNS Enterprise Solutions Business Platform. The role works closely with the Subject Matter Experts and Data Owners of different teams Within the Commercial Operations team, the role will drive for data quality and efficient creation, update and retirement of master data. This enables the Business Platform and Supply Chain to work effectively and efficiently. It strongly contributes to a higher degree of automation capabilities and process compliance.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Define and own (master) data management strategy for CNS Enterprise Solutions 
  • Develop and implement master data governance (customer, supplier, contracts, pricing, product, etc.) for the CNS Enterprise Solutions 
  • Establishing, maintaining, and periodically reviewing and recommending changes to data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. 
  • Facilitating data governance organization, tactical and operational stewards, and the data governance council involvement 
  • Establish and operationalize federated operating model by building effective partnerships with business domains and embed clear roles & responsibilities closely to the business 
  • Understand the technology landscape of transactional systems, data management and master data layer, to analytics and consuming applications 
  • Developing and delivering data governance program educational, awareness, and mentoring materials 

Key skills and experience required for performing the role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst with 10+ years, working with commercial analytics topics. On daily basis, you will:

  • Apply various analytical methods to run modelling 
  • Follow hidden business insights in the data 
  • Manage of the internal and external data sources 
  • Thorough understanding of the business and data strategy 
  • Designing and implementing data strategies and systems 
  • Lead, motivate, and manage large technical teams 
  • Overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality, and protection of data 
  • Implementing data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations 
  • Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to CNS Enterprise Solutions 
  • Knowledge of relevant applications, data solutions, and respective tools 

You will work with:

  • Variety of data types and sources 
  • Analytics methods, from statistical modeling to Machine Learning 
  • SQL database tools 
  • Microsoft Azure 
  • Microsoft Power Solutions (Power Query, PowerPivot, Power BI) 
  • Knowledge in Database tools, Power BI, SAP, SAP Byd, CRM

  • B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME/MCA degree in Computer Science or related fields. 
  • Certifications in Agile can be an added advantage.
