Your Role and Responsibilities


We are part of Einstimer (industry leading static timing analysis tool) Development team, part of EDA organization under Systems and Technology Group.


As an EDA Tool Developer, you are responsible for timing analysis of high-performance hardware design for IBM’s next generation microprocessor for the IBM P and Z Systems which is used in Cognitive, ML, DL, and data centre applications.


You will come with a BS, or MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/ECE, ready to handle the challenging problems in future technologies and designs.


Responsibilities


You will come with Machine Learning/AI and/or Data Science background to lead our leading-edge algorithms and AI technology within our EDA solutions to increase our design team’s productivity and chip quality and performance.


As a key developer of Analysis team, you will contribute in co-developing or improving existing algorithms in Static timing analysis, Noise Impact of Timing and Function to improve overall turnaround time and accuracy of Timing/Noise analysis for Macro/Unit/Chip design.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in IT Industry
  • Proficient in c/c++ programming skills 
  • Expertise in Static timing analysis
  • Working knowledge of VLSI
  • Proven problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to coordinate deliverables and requirements from several areas within and outside of the organization.


Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise


  • C++, Python, Cadence, 
  • VLSI knowledge, 
  • VHDL/Verilog, 
  • computer architecture, 
  • EDA tool development experience.
