The enthusiastic candidate has a direct working with the Founder. Your Educational background is as: Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience.

The Candidate will have dual reporting to the Founder and CFO both.

Qualified CA having atleast 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting & Tax field. Start-up experience shall be given preference. Additional preferred qualifications – CFA, CS, MBA (Finance), Graduation from Tier 1 will be preferred. 

Job Location: Gurgaon (work from office)

Reporting: Dual reporting to the Founder and CFO both

Must have these:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with atleast 5 years of work experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Tally, MS-Excel & MS-Powerpoint.
  • Experience in field of accounting, direct & indirect tax compliances & financial reporting.
  • Experience in the field of Investor Relations, Fund Raising and FP&A.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic inputs & decision making

  • Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
  • Interact with and bring department into line with Board of Directors’ plans, initiatives and recommendations
  • Budgeting & Variance analysis
  • Suggestions on possible financial efficiencies in the organization

Fund raising (Prior experience preferred)

  • Evaluate various funding options (Equity / Debt) for depending on expansion requirements of the Company. Liaison with Company’s bankers and organize funding for CAPEX and working capital requirements.
  • Financial Modelling
  • Preparation of information memorandum
  • Prepare the company for due diligences and coordinate due diligences
  • Reaching out to potential investors for fund raising

Routine Finance Tasks

  • To manage daily operation in finance, accounting, and tax department
  • Maintenance of books of accounts including supervision and constant improvement of underlying processes (Accounts Payable, Account Receivables, bookkeeping, banking and treasury)
  • Ensuring accounting and supervision of Accounts Payable, Account Receivables, bookkeeping, banking and treasury
  • Managing tax related compliance (Direct tax and Indirect tax)
  • Managing payroll related compliances (salary payment, statutory liabilities & returns)
  • Working and development of internal controls policies and procedures and SOPs

Financial Reporting & Investor Relations

  • Periodic closing (Month / Quarter / Year-end) of accounts and financial statements
  • Preparation of Financial statements and MIS
  • Supporting Regulatory, shareholder and business requirements
  • Ensuring periodic reporting for the management based on requirement
  • Responsible for ensuring completion of financial audits (internal/external)
  • Relationship management with key business partners and internal stakeholders

Secretarial, Legal Compliance Function (Prior experience preferred)

  • Handling of Board, Shareholder and Committee Meetings pre and post meeting compliances
  • Prepare the company for due diligences and coordinate due diligences for acquisitions / Joint ventures.
  • Preparation / Review of various agreements to be entered by the company
  • Managing the reporting of Company Secretary & responsible for all compliances including Secretarial, Statutory, Tax and Legal compliances, etc.
  • Formulation of systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company.
