Job Description

Provide support to department activities with specific responsibility for the processing, recording, updating and reconciling information and comply with established policies. Assist in the planning, implementation and follow up of organization procedures and policies for IQ EQ

Implement financial strategies and projects.

Tasks

  • Ensure good working relationship with various internal and external stakeholders (internal clients, auditors, bankers etc)
  • Identify any cost saving opportunities within the business
  • Highlight any potential risk of financial losses
  • Lead, coach and assist team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, in line with best practices
  • Ensure process consistency and quality of work
  • Prepare and interpret all financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for
    • Maintenance of books of accounts under IndAS and IFRS, taking full responsibility of managing the audits and Financial reporting
    • compliance with direct or indirect Tax, regulatory aspects and internal or external reporting,
    • managing budget, forecast, capex and assets of the Company
    • laying down various processes for the Company and documenting the same from time to time in compliance with local or Group requirements
    • Assisting with payroll and compliance with the Provident fund, profession tax and other such matters
    • leading the company secretarial role, finalizing agenda and minutes for Company and other committee’s meetings
    • all Company Law related matters and compliance
    • compliance with RBI, SEBI, IFSC or any other such regulatory authorities in India or overseas as may be applicable
    • Managing office supplies and administration; vendor or supplier management and tracking of receivables and payables and recovery
    • Playing a pivotal role of Compliance and Risk officer, Data Protection officer and other similar statutory or Group role, as may be required
    • issuing invoices to client and collection of invoice amount or overdues
    • Periodical MIS reporting
  • To ensure protections of information assets of IQ-EQ and to abide by the ISMS in place at IQ EQ internal controls and processes, for Indian or any global IQ-EQ entities.

Qualifications

Education / professional qualifications

  • Qualified Company Secretary with L.L.B or C.A.

Background Experience

  • 8 years of prior experience preferably in multinational company or large Indian Corporate Group

Technical

  • Experienced in Accounting standards, (IndAS, IFRS and relevant GAAPS), Applicable Legislations and Regulations

Computer / program knowledge

  • Advanced level of capability of the MS Office suite, Word Excel PowerPoint

Communications

  • Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
