Role Mandate

The Lead Creative Operations Manager will work directly with the Founder of The Elbow Neuron Company, and will be responsible for facilitating the development and review of all content for site, email, display and social media for ensuring the successful design and implementation of omni-channel campaigns. Creative Ops manages the flow of information and assets to and from the creative team to the client, and monitors adherence to brand standards and creative deadlines.


  • Manage creative process and workflow from creative brief submission to release of assets to client / vendor.
  • Facilitate collaboration between fashion editors, copywriters and web designers
  • Review digital assets for accuracy prior to review by the cross functional teams and client
  • Attend strategy and review meetings and vet feedback for the creative team
  • Initiate creative concept meetings after content submission to drive collaboration between creative teams
  • Ensure campaigns are represented as a full omni-channel experience 
  • Manage client approvals for brand assets
  • Create and manage timelines for photography, copy and design, and manage deadlines for creative assets
  • Develop and refine effective workflow processes, scheduling strategies, and communication models
  • Communicate obstacles and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures as well as brand guidelines 
  • Maintain understanding of all aspects of brand standards, design and production process
  • Arbitrate communication issues between business partners, creative operations managers and project managers within the PMO team


  • BA in Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of client servicing and/or project management experience with digital creative department or agency
  • Is a collaborative, generous team player – someone who readily shares ideas but also can happily build on others’ ideas
  • Strong understanding of design and print/web production software processes 
  • Has a very good grasp of developing and executing digital marketing strategies;
  • Leadership experience directing and managing growing team of resources preferred 
  • Ability to build relationships and extend network across Professional Services teams
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing trends and design 
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Applies innovative ideas and critical thinking to improve current and/or introduce new processes and workflows (internal and external), driving creative and development efficiencies/automation
  • Experience with workflow/project management tools – Google Sheets, ClickUp, Trello preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
  • Ability to see other people’s point of view and receive criticism
  • Proven ability to create clarity in ambiguous circumstances, including in direct client conversations at the onset of a new project, gathering requirements or managing through revisions
