Job Description As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple business and IT projects through Consumer IT domain portfolios, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost in the spirit of the Vodafone Way ensuring compliance to deliverables and methodology as defined by VPDL / any other applicable delivery governance. This role will manage high complexity projects with cross functional impact across a number of technical systems, domain areas, System Integrators and Third Parties. Projects will involve constrained resource teams and include significant business change /transformation. Responsibilities Responsible for the successful delivery of capabilities and products to the satisfaction of business stakeholders/customers/third parties Accountable for effective and timely agile/hybrid project delivery Handle ever changing business priorities and external dependencies Work with Product owner to refine backlog and align prioritised features for delivery in the release model Work with Business Analysts and Customer Experience Teams to ensure the right requirements and journeys for the prioritised feature/agreed scope is drafted and signed off with relevant stakeholders Engage with Demand team, Review Checklist as per the VPDL governance model and accept Delivery of Project into IT Liaise with Numerous internal business stakeholders and external third parties, disparate and geographically remote teams Work with E2E Architects to understand the solution blue print and identify impacted applications/components for delivery Engage with appropriate Domains, Suppliers and vendors and request VROM/quote to deliver changes as per the Solution prescribed in the ITDA (Initial Technical design Assessment) Continue engagement with Architects and Domains for refined solutions and signed off design artefacts Review the Delivery cost on back of E2E design completion for any reduction/change in scope Put up Project and delivery Plans and define key milestones for delivery Track dependencies across individual components and define a E2E delivery view for Test and Production environments Engage with Architects and Domain designers to identify any Hardware / Environment changes needed to deliver the new Product/capability Align with appropriate Environment and support teams to deliver the changes identified in the Environment discover activity Interact with Design, Dev and Test teams, track progress throughout the project lifecycle and ensure milestone adherence Work with Test manager to track test sign off and readiness of code release into production. Review any potential defects impacting product launch with Business stakeholders and work through mitigation plans if any Liaise with Programme, Go To Market, CX and Operation teams to deliver IT activities to enable Commercial launch Work with Change management and Deployment teams to align project deployments delivered outside of standard release windows Effective Reporting and Comms to Internal IT and Business Stakeholders on Project status Represent key Project asks in Steer co forums to derive decisions and remove roadblocks Facilitate Daily stand up and scrum meetings to remove blockers hampering team s progress Submit Business case into Finance Forum to drawdown project funds Represent IT in Programme forums, provide concise update and keep Business stakeholders informed with Project on goings Plan, Forecast and manage Project Budgets by tracking actual vs committed funds on a monthly basis Engage with Internal and External suppliers to obtain PO/WO and track receipting of funds on delivery of goods/milestone as per the commitment and guidelines agreed in the contracts Work with Operations team and ensure Operational checklist is met for a seamless signoff for deployment into Production Manage Field user Testing from an IT perspective, pick up defects for
