Customer Onboarding Project Manager – 5G as a Service (5GaaS) 

What You’ll Do

We are currently seeking a full time Technical Project Manager to join our Service Delivery team. This assignment is a highly visible and challenging role, responsible for providing support to our internal and external customers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide Project Management for Cisco’s IoT Control Center 5GaaS platform 
  • 5GaaS customer enablement and onboarding 
  • Develop documentation, reports, procedures, and processes to support 5GaaS 
  • Maintain and document 5GaaS projects and customer onboarding progress and reports in our tracking tool 
  • Be an effective advocate for the 5GaaS customers and provide a superior customer experience 
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Ability to support internal and customer-facing continuous improvement programs that will support 5GaaS 
  • Ability to support and drive business delivery process engineering, improvement and automation via various tools. 

Who You Are

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related technical fields or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of experience as Project/Program manager, ideally in the Software /Telecom space 
  • You are passionate about customers 
  • You understand how to build effective, agile scalable processes from the ground up. 


  • Experience in developing and managing projects for Telecommunication environments 
  • Experience in Partner and Customer Management 
  • Experience or project work with large scale distributed systems. 
  • Good understanding of cellular network architecture 
  • A “can-do” attitude to tackle challenging problems to meet aggressive milestones 
  • Effective in working with technical peers, with strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a distributed team environment 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to work independently 


  • An understanding/experience of how As a Service (aaS) cloud services work 
  • Understanding/Experience using case management and tracking tools such as Salesforce, Jira 
  • Previous relevant projects, work experience in the Telecommunications and/or IoT industry. 
  • Fundamental understanding of GSM, GPRS, LTE networks 
  • of carrier network key nodes such as HLR/HSS, MSC/VLR, SGSN/MME, GGSN/PGW, SMSC 
  • Fundamental knowledge of 5G network architecture 
  • Formal project management training + certification – PMI PMP, Prince, knowledge of six sigma, change management or equivalent experience
