Overview


Main Purpose

  • This role would primarily be involved in the following activities:
    • Foods and Beverages Reporting and Accounting
    • Maintaining hygiene of HQ balance sheet (Beverages and Foods) 
    • Responsible for coordination of overall closure & consolidation of Beverages and Foods results for HFM submission & review
    • Support the closure and reviews of US Tax Reporting(FAS 109)
    • Support Sector Reporting COE in Quarterly and Annual Deliverables for India BU 
    • Lead the Balance Sheet review for India BU 
    • Lead Statutory Audit as per INDAS
    • Responsible for overall coordination and closure of Annual Impairment Reviews
    • Lead the Payroll Function
    • Lead Implementation of any new Financial policies/ processes


Responsibilities


Key Accountabilities 


  • Review Balance Sheet Schedules for the HQ on a monthly basis 
  • Ensure closure of monthly entries for the BU and closure of SAP results for the BU
  • Lead Quarterly BU BSR with BU Controller/BU CFO
  • Review of current month vs. last month COC of key schedules 
  • Collate & highlight issues arising from location reviews & follow up on action points agreed
  • Support BU GCS Compliance activities
  • Support Corporate Audit for FR activities for the BU
  • Lead coordination, planning, preparation, and finalization of Statutory Audit for the BU
  • Ensure accuracy in the monthly US tax reporting and annual activities like tax hard close and US tax package
  • Ensure Bank Recon for the BU and closure of actions on aged items
  • Ensuring ways of working of vertical within Finance & across organization
  • Drive organization Health Survey Score
  • Lead and streamline the payroll function ensuring policies are adhered to, all statutory compliances are completed within timelines, payroll activities are completed as per calendar and make the function a delightful experience for the employees.
  • Support GP team in review and approval of vendor contracts
  • Support the Capex team in drafting the accounting considerations for new capex’s


Qualifications


Key Skills/Experience Required 


  • Chartered Accountant with 8 – 10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Significant experience of managing a team, external vendors, and auditors
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Working experience of SAP and Hyperion Financial management tool
