Job Description

The Issuing Solutions Digital Enablement team is seeking an outstanding Solutions Manager candidate with the vision, passion and commitment to deliver on Visa s global strategy of digital and mobile enablement for issuing and processing clients.

The Solutions Manager position is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Director for Digital Enablement & Commercialization, who is responsible for organizational and client readiness. This position will be responsible for: product technical documentation, dissemination of product knowledge (through bulletins, internal trainings, and client webinars), business analysis, program and release management, and commercialization requirements for Digital Enablement products. This position involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams (in Client Services, Legal, Sales, Technology) to develop, refine, and approve documentation and project plans.

The Solutions Manager will be responsible for providing product subject matter expertise and documentation for internal and external consumption (including but not limited to service descriptions, implementation guides, process flows, and other product-related deliverables, as required). This person will be required to develop and maintain project workplans, identify risks and issues, and work closely with their peers and management to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of product initiatives.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent writing and content development skills, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and some product management experience, with a desire to build product implementation, readiness and management skills. Previous experience documenting technical products for technical and non-technical audiences is required. Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager is desired, as well as some experience in project management and an understanding of software development life cycle.

Role Responsibilities

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required. In particular, candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in effectively communicating business and technical subject matter in written form, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Works on assignments of diverse scope where initiative and judgment are required to identify a correct course of action within the context of broad goals and long-term objectives. Work involves multiple domains and product offerings within Visa.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned deliverables and managing tasks for assigned programs or products.
  • Must be able to build product subject matter expertise, and understand, represent and communicate detailed product functionality associated with our digital solutions.
  • Knowledge of developing task plans, project plans and milestone dates is required. Assists in the roll-out of new business processes and improvement to existing processes, where needed.
  • Ability to delegate project tasks when appropriate, manage multiple concurrent assignments and dependencies, with competing priorities.
  • Responsible for various program management artifacts including, but not limited to project plans, process flows, RACI documents, status reports and other project documents, as needed.
  • Ensures deliverables are in alignment with corporate and department goals.
  • Monitor, track and report on the successful launch of product deliverables associated with program and product management assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence to build credibility within Visa and with clients.
  • Interact with Visa clients as needed to provide subject matter expertise on product features, product roadmaps, marketing materials and other plans to promote growth and increase revenue.
  • Represent Product with Visa account executives, account managers, and clients to drive pilot programs, in-market tests and new product launches for assigned programs.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style. 

This position will be based in Bangalore, India.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications


  • 2 – 5 or more years experience in product management, product/technical writing, digital/mobile products, and/or product program management disciplines.
  • Limited travel may be required.
